Re-entry

I am home. I got home about 2pm this afternoon. Re-entry into real life has been a little rough, but we will all adjust, and it will only last a few days. The kids are not used to Mommy not being able to do everything for them, or having to sit still when sitting on Mommy's lap. We had some good cuddle time but then the kids (mostly Billy) got too antsy after awhile and it got frustrating all around. It was tough for Billy too when I couldn't do more to put him to bed. But I know each day will get a little easier and I'll be able to do a little more. Cathy arrived tonight too, so that will be a big help tomorrow.

  1. Mommys are the most important people in the world! And the good ones, like you Amy, are REALLY important! The "difficulty" of the children right now is merely a sign of their deep need for renewed time & attention from Mommy. Hopefully in a few days your strength & energy will be back & then you can toss the kids all over the place, tee hee. Bless our special angel, Cathy, for coming to help out. It is so important to have some help for several days. Speedy recovery now!!! So glad you're home with the family you love.

  2. Aw, poor Billy! I can totally picture it. Mom's back, so everything should be just exactly the way it was. And you're such a get-down-on-the-floor mom, Amy! I'd want that right back, too. :) Well, now Aunty Cathy will have to wrestle on the floor, and you get the luxury of watching how silly that looks!
